Better upgrading instructions; customizing curing priorities1/31/2006 2:52pm

The installation instructions have been clarified somewhat so that people no longer skip the last part of the importing process and miss the part about running the setup script. Upgrading instructions have been moved to their own page and the differences between upgrading from XL versus upgrading from LE also clarified.

There's a new customization idea about how to tweak your curing priorities in the ACP LE, even during mid-fight.

Added comparison of LE vs XL1/28/2006 10:56am

Lately, it seems that many people want to know how LE is different from XL or what makes it worth the upgrade. I've documented most of the major changes now to help you make informed decisions on whether you want to try LE or not.

As a side note, a couple cool new features and important bug fixes have been committed to CVS this week. Please do check them out.


New Q&A's in the FAQ1/25/2006 9:47am

I've been getting several questions about strange behaviors in ACP LE, and most of them can be solved with some configuration tweaks. These tweaks are now documented in the FAQ section for everyone to read. A couple of other answers were also clarified a bit further. Please check the documentation before reporting problems with the system. Thanks.


New failsafe when focusing1/23/2006 7:30am

After having it pointed out to me that focusing still happened at less than half mana, I added a failsafe to the acp_focuscures alias that now checks your mana level. As of version 1.70, if your mana is at or below @Settings.focus_mana, the alias will not focus. You should still be able to focus manually, should you want to try it, but not automatically unless your mana is above the low water mark.

You can configure @Settings.focus_mana dynamically through your own customizations if you want to focus at different levels when fighting different opponents. Just remember to set the value back to your default when you're finished the fight.


Added new customization idea: Aura Button1/16/2006 7:22pm

I had always planned to demonstrate how to make a button for toggling a defense, so the aura of rebounding is the example of just that. Read over the short script for commands to install a button on your control toolbar that enables and disables the smoking of skullcap. (Note: there is a minor bug with the synchronization of toolbars that was just fixed in version 1.69, discovered after the creation of the Aura button.)


ACP LE officially released1/14/2006 11:38am

I have uploaded and released the first version of the new LE module. It is a complete re-write of the XL code and offers many advancements. The script is much more complex, so please refer to all documentation carefully when installing the module.

Also, I have added a new issue regarding symptoms to the Known Issues page.


Added new Wise Sage to the "Clan" page11/20/2005 7:41am

I have added Malaphus as one of the Wise Sages of the clan. He has made many contributions in the form of code updates, new trigger messages, and excellent bug reports for the LE module.


Added known issue with class-specific triggers11/19/2005 10:27am

If you disable a class after enabling others that share a skill set, you will accidentally disable the shared skill set. It will appear as though you have the proper classes enabled, but the triggers will not really be enabled. Please read Known Issues for further details and a temporary solution.


Added "What's New" and "Known Issues"11/04/2005 10:48am

People have been requesting a way to stay more informed regarding open issues and changes made to the ACP, so to respond to that I have started two new pages. I will try to keep these pages updated the best that I can, but it is very likely they will not always be in sync with what's really happening.
